Whether you are a sole practitioner or a dental group, our exemplary office-based anesthesia services offer you peace of mind and the opportunity to practice dentistry and focus on your procedures without the worries associated with anesthetic management. Our standards of care in both Pediatric and Adult Dental Anesthesia meet or exceed those developed by accrediting agencies in the state of California and are guided by the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Dental Board of California.

We can help you grow your practice, work more efficiently, provide maximum comfort and safety to your patients, and enable you to offer more extensive procedures. Our goal is simple: provide outstanding anesthesia services so that you can focus on practicing quality dentistry. We want your patients to be satisfied with their dental experience in the safest environment possible.

Assisting Dentists, One Patient at a Time

Bay Area Anesthesia will work with you to provide reliable, consistent and convenient surgical scheduling. Our staff will perform a pre-surgical assessment and health history for each patient to ascertain any presenting anesthetic considerations prior to the scheduled appointment, reviewing the information again with the patient the day of the procedure. We will provide the patient with detailed pre-operative and post-operative instructions for anesthesia recovery.

Nothing is more important than the safety of your patient. For pediatric patients, Bay Area Anesthesia often utilizes a total Intravenous Anesthesia technique to make the procedure more pleasant for the child and the parent. Our Dentist Anesthesiologist has been specially trained to work with children with decades of experience treating young children ranging from infants to adolescents. Our team is dedicated to adapting anesthesia methods to the developmental ages of children to provide a safe and non-threatening anesthetic. Our Anesthesiologist is certified in both Adult and Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Uncompromising Patient Safety

With the latest in anesthesia techniques, medications and ultra-compact monitoring equipment, our Board-Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist will prepare and monitor your patients throughout the entire procedure. We provide full monitoring of EKG, Pulse Oximetry, Temperature, Blood Pressure, Ventilation, O2 Levels and Inhalation Agents. Our Anesthesiologist is equipped with operating and recovery room monitors, Infusion Pumps and Defibrillator, so you won’t need to worry about purchasing, controlling or inventorying anesthesia equipment and/or supplies.

Bay Area Anesthesia supplies all medications, including Propofol, which is a short-acting agent from which patients emerge swiftly and are generally discharged feeling wakeful, alert and pain-free. Best of all, there is no cost to your practice for our services.
